Hi, I'm Shermaine the founder of LovebyEmma.

At the age of 12, I began experiencing mild acne and tried various over-the-counter medications, which offered limited relief. By my late teens, my condition had progressed to moderate acne, leading me to use various well known products for several years. Initially effective for a few years but then my acne went from moderate to severe/chronic/cystic acne by my late 20s, prompting multiple visits to the dermatologist. I was seen by over 100 dermatologists within 20 years who gave me multiple treatments of oral, topical and injectable prescription, which was a temporary fix. 

In my mid-30s, after giving birth to my daughter Emma, my chronic acne was still there and now I developed sensitivities and was diagnosed with every single skincare condition that you can think of. At this point in my life I was experiencing significant hair loss, accompanied by a burning scalp, sores on my legs and my arms.

Desperate for relief, I discarded all my skincare products and embarked on a journey to create effective formulations. After years of research and development, I discovered that by only using the highest quality ingredients from all over the world, I can effectively support the restoration of a healthy skin. Sharing samples with others facing similar challenges and given positive results back. Inspiring by my daughter to encourage me to help more people. Thus, LovebyEmma was born.
